Lead Photographer

Brandon Chang (Founder & Lead Photographer)

Often intrigued by the impact caused by powerful imageries, Brandon strives to create photos characterized by a certain strength that draws its audience in and leave them with a lasting visual imprinted indefinitely in their minds. He continually pushes photography in an artistic direction. His indulgence in such creations sees a natural leaning towards fashion and creative photography where it allows free play of imagination and creativity. The result, evocative images that have earned him accolades from far and wide.

Never one to be known as a ‘technical’ photographer, Brandon sees photography as an expression of individualism – the thinking process behind the shots, the selection of elements within a photo and ultimately, his very own definition of shot-worthiness. The end results – the photos – are merely a tangible reflection of that thinking process and to a greater extent, of who he really is.

His strong allegiance to his belief of individualism has defined his photography philosophy over the years. The willingness to experiment and the courage to stand apart from others have served him well and attracted a steady stream of clients and fans worldwide. This further cements his faith in the way he sees photography as an extension of self. His style comes across most obviously in his fashion and landscape shoots.

Spurred on by the encouragement and endorsement of his photography style, he decided to turn professional in 2009 and is now in pursuit of his aspiration to fulfill the gift of photography and the vision of Canvasblanc.
